Jonathan Reyes

Chief Lending Officer

Jonathan underwrites loan transactions, reviews business plans, performs financial analysis, and completes due diligence, with an emphasis on growing CFE’s small business portfolio. He has a particular expertise in working with business owners and contributes to pipeline development by meeting with potential borrowers early in the lending process.

Previously, Jonathan worked as Branch Leader for Truist Bank, where he collaborated with community partners, including Main Street organizations, CDFIs, small businesses, and nonprofits. He provided support around financial literacy, business planning and development, and small business lending. Jonathan has also worked as a Senior Loan Officer for another CDFI. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University and a master’s in business administration from Loyola University.
