Andie Byrd

Senior Advisor, Fund & Organizational Development

In more than two decades of nonprofit fund development and communications work, Andie has led teams to raise $90 million. As Senior Advisor, Fund & Organizational Development, she focuses on supporting CFE to strengthen its organizational strategy and culture and to develop its funding and communications functions. She also serves as a high-level board liaison and provides editorial guidance on key communications.

Andie’s career mission is to learn and practice how to be a force for social and racial justice, by building relationships that help to spark, grow, and sustain transformative financial support for systemic change that is rooted in the leadership of those closest to the issues. Previously, she led development and communications at Southern California Grantmakers, the regional association for philanthropy where more than 300 foundations, companies, and government funders come together. Prior to SCG, she was the Director of Development and Communications at SaverLife and the Director of Development at JobTrain, both in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is proud to serve on the boards of OCCORD in Orange County, California and Colony Retirement Homes in Worcester, Massachusetts. Andie received her B.A. with honors from Harvard College.
